The office of Law and Kolakowski, California's Consumer Protection Law Firm is located in San Diego, California. For over 22 years, we have offered sound, honest legal advice to individuals who have purchased or leased a materially defective new or used motor vehicle. Douglas D. Law earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1983. Upon graduation, Mr. Law worked for Lionel, Sawyer & Collins, the largest law firm in Nevada. In 1988, Mr. Law returned to California and joined Hal Rosner and created Rosner, Law & Mansfield. In 2006, Mr. Law started Law & Kolakowski, with partner Leonard Kolakowski. For over 18 years, Mr. Law has successfully handled consumer protection cases. Most notably, Mr. Law was the trial attorney for Foreman v. National R.V., Inc. which made significant California law with regard to lemon motorhomes. During this time, Mr. Law has gained the respect of the legal community and reputation as one of the state's most successful trial attorneys. Mr. Law is also an active member of the California State Bar Association, Lawyers Club, and the LaRaza Lawyers Association of San Diego.

Leonard M. Kolakowski earned his law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law in 1980. That same year, Mr. Kolakowski began his career in the field of business litigation for law firm of Ralph Gano Miller, APLC. After 5 years of practice with the firm, Mr. Kolakowski, became assistant general counsel for Kaypro Computer Corporation. After 3 years with Kaypro, Mr. Kolakowski moved on to become general counsel for the franchisor of Soup Exchange restaurants. As in house counsel, Mr. Kolakowski, in addition to consulting with corporate officers and directors, supervised each company's outside litigation counsel. After seven years with Soup Exchange, Mr. Kolakowski returned to his roots in litigation by practicing with Rosner and Associates in the field of Automobile Warranty ("Lemon Law"). Thereafter, Mr. Kolakowski continued practiced as a sole practitioner, and in January of 2006 began working exclusively, with the firm of Rosner, Law and Kolakowski in the field of Lemon Law and Automobile Dealer Fraud. In October of 2006, Mr. Kolakowski joined in partnership with Mr. Law to form the firm of Law & Kolakowski.
